Junior Academy (U4-U7)

What is Junior Academy?

Welcome to the Junior Academy Program.  For the Fall of 2025, Winter of 2025/2026 and the Spring of 2026, this program is for all players born in 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019. The online registration for the fall season is now closed. Sessions and games will start the week of August 11th, 2025.

We also have 5 week training blocks for Winter Junior Academy too. These run from November to March and registration is now open.

GEA Junior Academy is an exciting introduction to soccer based on what’s best for the players. The player’s individual skill development and enjoyment is at the heart of the program. All players get professional training from GEA staff members. They get practices throughout the year with small-sided games during the spring and fall seasons. The players play 4v4 to maximize touches and enjoyment.

Why Junior Academy?

Junior Academy is the first stage of the GEA Development Pathway. Led by our GEA Junior Academy Director the program is the “me and my ball” stage in a low pressure environment where individual technical development is the main focus alongside fun games that promote lots of touches of the ball. It will give your player confidence and set them up for an exciting future in soccer!

Junior Academy Winter Session 1 — Saturday Mornings (Indoor)

Who Can Register

Children born in 2022, 2021, 2020, or 2019 are eligible

Each time slot is split into two halves:
1. Training
2. Scrimmage

November 8th, 15th & 22nd | December 6th & 13th

U7 (2019) - 9:00AM-9:50AM

U6 (2020) - 10:00AM-10:50AM

U5 (2021) - 11:00AM-11:50AM

U4 (2022) - 11:00AM-11:50AM

Coaching & Communication

Teams, rosters, coaches and schedules will be emailed to registered participants the week before the session starts.

All Jr. Academy teams are coached by volunteer parent coaches.

Equipment & Uniforms

Jersey - Soccer Internationale black/white reversible jersey

Footwear - Cleats are optional

Shin Guards - Required, Socks should cover them

Soccer Ball - Size #3, with players name on it

Water Bottle - With players name on
