2006B  ECNL WIN US YOUTH SOCCER REGIONALS

Our 2006 Boys ECNL team won the recent US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional Championships held in St Louis in June to qualify for the 2023 National Championships in Orlando, Florida. After 5 undefeated games that resulted in them lifting the Regional trophy the boys headed to the ESPN Wide World of Sports in the Sunshine State to compete vs 15 of the best U17 boys teams in the nation.

After winning games one and two vs teams from Pennsylvania and Ohio the boys took on a fellow undefeated team from Miami, Florida with a spot in the National Championship Semi Finals on the line. After an extremely tight game and with the boys pushing for a needed win they conceded a late strike to fall to a 1-0 loss and with it their season ended.

It brings an end to the 2006 only age group as the 2006 players now combine with the 2005's to play U19 soccer in both the ECNL and ECNL RL beginning Fall 2023. This team has been State Cup Finalists in 3 straight seasons, qualified for NPL Playoffs then ECNL Playoffs (both in year one of playing in the leagues) and capped off their 2006 run with the successes this past June and July.
