DeFini wins back to back Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year Awards

Congratulations to Sonora DeFini (Gretna East HS & 06/07 ECNL) on being named Nebraska Girls Soccer GATORADE PLAYER OF THE YEAR for the second year in a row!

Sonora follows club teammate Allison Marshall, who won the award back to back years in 2022 & 2023.

That also makes 4 years in a row that GEA players have won the girls Gatorade POY award in Nebraska.

Another High School State title (4 in a row) & another 44 goals & 10 assists to add to the Class B single season scoring title from last year.

Sonora ends her High School soccer career as a 4 x State Champion, 2 x Gatorade Player of the Year and with 119 goals & 29 assists (she also played central defender as a freshman!).
